Welcome to a. smedley designs

This is the creative storage space of Angela Smedley, a graphic designer, computer techie, wannabe game designer and programming hobbiest. I have a BFA in Graphic Design, but somehow found myself working as a phone support technician for Sage, a software company. I started with Peachtree (an accounting program) and now have moved to DacEasy (a much different accounting program with a cult-like following). It's not too bad though, in my free time I can still indulge in creative projects, both alone and with friends.

The website design is brand new, and was coded from scratch in a text editor called Notepad++. After being rather dissapointed with Joomla and unable to figure out how the heck a joomla template works, I decided to go old school. Being obsessive surely paid off, because while working on the new layout of the site, I had several ideas on new directions for my other projects. So sit back and enjoy some new inspiration

New Additions

Like I mentioned earlier, this is all still pretty fresh. Some of the pages are brand new and the content still hasn't been completed. That's going to change as I search the hard drives of three computers to find all the stuff I've been working on for the past ten years. Some of those projects have never really seen the light of day since, but I know there were some goodies that just need a bit of polish.

New sections include Flash, to which I did all the old galleries in, but I have decided to give ActionScript another go and get some little animations and interactive web toys a try. Wish me luck.
